Our Engineering Support Team is composed of a very well trained, experienced staff with a wealth of knowledge in the satellite command and control domain. This experience extends from command and control system design and development to actual satellite and payload operations. A high percentage of both engineers and managers at L-3 Telemetry-West (TW) have backgrounds in either satellite operations or spacecraft manufacturer factory support. With over 50 years of operations knowledge, L-3 TW is able to build systems that are in touch with satellite operator requirements, as well as desires.

Just as important, the L-3 TW staff has a large array of experience in software development disciplines. This experience includes large-scale software design and implementation for mission critical applications, as well as real-world practice with significant software technologies such as C++, Java, Microsoft® Windows®, and CORBA.

Given that a satellite control center is in many ways an extension of the spacecraft itself, L-3 TW places high value on a staff that has satellite operations and satellite design skills.
