- Health Insurance
Employees have the option to participate in: Medical insurance
with a choice between an HMO plan or a POS plan, Dental
insurance with a choice between a DMO plan or a PPO plan,
and vision insurance is included with any medical plan selection.
- 9/80 Compressed Work Week
We understand that it is difficult to juggle the demands
of your personal and professional life so we have instituted
a 9/80 compressed work week. A nine hour day is required
Monday through Thursday, and an eight-hour day is required
on Friday. The following Friday will be the Alternate Friday
Off (AFO). This schedule results in every other Friday off
or 26 three-day weekends a year!
- Casual Work Environment/Dress Code
- Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave
L-3 Telemetry-West employees are eligible to accrue two
weeks of vacation per calendar year plus one additional
day each calendar year up to a maximum of 20 days per year.
L-3 Telemetry-West employees generally receive 80 hours
of holidays per year and 40 hours of sick leave.
- 401(k)
Plan Employees may elect to contribute up to 17% of their
gross compensation. The company will match 50 cents to every
dollar up to 6% of the total earnings that you contribute.
Fidelity Investment, our Trustees and administrators, allow
you to directly control your investments with fourteen fund
choices, ranging in risk.
- Computer Loans
L-3 Telemetry-West employees are eligible to borrow from
the company for the purchase of a home computer and/or peripheral
equipment at no interest.
- Tuition Reimbursement
We know education is the best investment! Tuition assistance
for course work that enables an employee to increase their
skills and professional competence is available.
- Employee Referral Program
A financial bonus may be paid to current employees who refer
qualified applicants that are subsequently hired.
- Flexible Spending Accounts
Through special accounts employees may use pretax dollars
to pay for expenses not covered by their health care plans
or expenses related to dependent care.
